Are you most like a Poodle, Afghan, Toy Pom, or a Jack Russel, Staffy, Bloodhound? If you chose any of the first three dogs then I am inclined to say that you are not an entrepreneur. But if you chose any of the last three then I would seriously consider going into business with you.
As you know; this is not based on any science and I had to look a little further:
Walter Kuemmerle wrote a great article. He said,
Successful entrepreneurs know how to seal deals. They possess an almost uncanny ability to come in, often at the last moment, and elbow their rivals aside. However tough the market or small the transaction, they know exactly what they must give up—and what they can get away with—while finalizing deals under pressure.
You’ll agree with me that this Jack Russel possess an almost uncanny ability to get up and go when the odds are stacked against him.
Marriott School published a questionnaire by Northwestern Mutual Life. According to then the following test predicts how suited you are to entrepreneurship.
If you are unsure if you should start a business then do this test for your own best will. The most important issue about this test is that you are not doing it to impress anyone. I have condensed the test. For a full scoring of your results go to Marriot School.
